It isn’t conflict itself that hurts most, but the loneliness inside it — the feeling of not being heard, chosen, or understood

Couples therapy focuses on what happens between two people when things feel tense, distant, or repetitive.

How I work

I work primarily with Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to slow interactions down and access the emotions beneath conflict.

Transactional Analysis helps us notice repeated communication patterns and unspoken roles, so couples can move from automatic reactions to more adult, responsive conversations.

I can help with

Repeated arguments or shutdowns

 Emotional distance or disconnection

Trust ruptures or unresolved hurt

 Intimacy concerns

Cultural or family-of-origin differences

The bridge that learned to hold

The bridge was mistaken for a solution.
Cross it, people thought, and things would improve.

But the bridge wasn’t meant to rush anyone.
It was meant to hold hesitation.
The moment one person stops and the other doesn’t know whether to follow.

This work happens in that middle space — where slowing down matters more than being right.
